THE GLITZ

The musical background of Daniel Nitsch and Andreas Henneberg is as different as their personalities, but that’s somehow what makes it work so well. The Glitz are recognized through their distinctive music, always having a melodic touch at the same time as being a little bit of old-school but also fresh and groovy. In the middle of the 90’s they found their love for house and tech-house music. After moving around as DJ’s and having some solo releases, the young and talented guys decided to come together as THE GLITZ back in 2007. Since then we have seen a steady stream of hard hitting releases on prestigious labels, starting with their hit “White Line” on their own imprint Voltage Musique. Following this huge success, the guys have been invited to release on labels such as Material, Circus, Noir, Lapsus and Katermukke.

In 2015 they reached a big musical milestone when they returned back to Voltage Musique with their first album “No Drama”. The album set fire to the attention around these guys with the tracks being played by the biggest artists world wide. While travelling around the globe with their album tour the guys continued working for musical progress, and so the concept of “No Drama – The Remixes” was born. The remixed album is set to come out 2016 with an impressive line-up of guests delivering their own interpretations of the tracks. Until then, catch The Glitz on the stages around the world where they continue to show off their keen sense for the right sound at the right moment.
